The inspiration to the art of writing came since he was very young. The first short stories appeared at sixteen, and during that time, having applied for public concourses, he was honoured twice. In the same period, mystery stories captivated him, and became almost an obsession, in the author´s words, when he began to devour a great number of books and films concerning this type of literature.

The fundamental style of his writing has been composed since he produced the first sketches for long stories, consisting of involving plot filled with creativeness, the marking thriller where reality and fiction are mixed together, and the commonplace as the main scene for bizarre and supernatural events. Dealing with diverse themes like psychological thriller, phantasy, terror, vampires and Ufology, Leonardo Brum explores human limitations during uncommon situations, and the courage to face fear and frustration. In conclusion, the irreality that provoques a reflexion to the modern life.

Leonardo Brum is 35 years old, and was born in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. He lives in Rio de Janeiro since 2004. Nowadays, he has been dedicating his time to the conclusion of his second book, a vampire plot written in a perspective you have never seen in any other similar story.
